Calgon has added four new scents to its recently repackaged bath and body collection. The collection consists of Body Cream, in colorful tubes, and Body Mist, in plastic bottles, both decorated with gold accents. Vivid imagery is used to “pop” on store shelves, and represent each fragrance. Two of the new fragrances are shown, along with two of the brand’s existing scents, Marshmallow and Hawaiian Ginger. The new fragrances are: Parisian Charm, a mix of sweet florals; Royal Rendezvous, a blend of wild berries, gardenia, and vanilla; Aqua Goddess, a combination of tangerine, water lily and sandalwood; and Blushing Blossoms, which features a peony scent. “For 2013, it is important to re-energize the brand with new products, packaging and fragrances,” said Robert Bailey, President and CEO of Ilex Consumer Products Group. Bailey adds, “We constantly strive to be on the pulse of the latest trends and to provide our consumers with products that exemplify the iconic Calgon ‘Take Me Away’ experience in new and exciting ways.” Calgon’s new packaging, fragrances and products have been rolling out to mass retailers nationally this spring. Calgon has also extended its basic bath offering with a new Nourishing Milk Bath in the top two Classic Calgon fragrances, Hawaiian Ginger and Morning Glory. These are available at Walmart.
